Why was midnight so bad?

I did not go to the show. Spent tge night drinking with the guys from gamma ray and HW.

But, really, why were they so bad?

I am going to go ahead and say the writing? The songs were just weird. Its more like Chanting and Poetry than anything else. I mean if that is what he was going for. I am more than sure there is a place and forum for that style but for a Prog Power crowd, nuh huh no way....
