Dirk Thurisch is back with Angel Dust
Just saw this on blabbermouth, and I thought some people here might appreciate it. I've always wanted to see them live, so now there's at least a possibility of that happening!

Didn't think Angel Dust was still around! That is kick-ass. For that matter, I still have a copy of the second Angel Dust album back from the 80's before they became the modern Power/Prog band. (And yes, I also have a copy Of Human Bondage as well)

This.
Glad to hear that news (to me) of their demise was a bit premature. ![]() Those two "Follow" songs from Bleed came up on my car iPod's playlist two days ago....awesome! ![]()

My first ProgPoower was IV so they're one of the few bands from the earlier PP's that I've never had a chance to see. Glenn listed them in his top 10 PP sets so here's hoping we may see them at PPXII (or maybe this year's Showcase?)

I was just about to post this. I am really fucking happy. One of the more underrated bands I personally feel. I would love it for them to come back to progpower as I didn't see them the first time.

Excellent news!
First heard of the band through the song Bleed, and remember seeing a video of them performing that song at ProgPower version whatever-it-was. Kick ass news!!!!

I doubt it. They could do progpower again but they're VERY underground. The only way is if they came in as a support act, which even then there's a slim chance.

They have been here before. They toured with Nevermore and I THINK Opeth on the same tour together back in the late 90s.

When I pulled up for the show, Jim Sheppard and some of the crew were delightedly snapping pics of the marquee. )

Well this is great news. I still remember when they played PP 2.0. I knew nothing about this band. But they took the stage and made me an instant fan. Definitely one of the best performances of the festival that year.
Ah the good ole days of my first PP. Still have the simple and very dated B&W T-shirt. Glenn hadn't perfected color yet. |
