New Suspyre
Well, this one smacked me right in the mouth from the very first listen. It's going to take a lot of listens to truly absorb everything that is going on here. It's like they took their prog game to a new level not only in the technical chops/tempo changes area, but the variety of songwriting as well. The 12+ minute epic, "The Man Made of Stone," is a song of the year contender.
I have no doubt this will be a Top 10 contender for the year. Awesome. |

The album is incredible. I'd love to see them on the main PPUSA stage. Their live show has improved tremendously. And I am not saying this with bias since I am not their manager anymore. I am saying it as a true fan.

Wow, I just listened to it on Spotify - AWESOME!!! It's a step above their previous works. So...why isn't it available for pre-order on Amazon? I see they have the MP3's listed, though you can't buy them yet, but I don't see the CD....

Thanks to everyone for all the kind words. I/we really appreciate that people are listening to our work!
I am just posting to let everyone know that the digital release date is today; "Suspyre" is already on iTunes, Amazon, Spotify, and will arrive at other digital retailers like Rhapsody shortly. The physical CD release date is April 10th. You can get your copy from Impulse Music's store. Thanks again!

Man I am really loving this cd. Honestly there were a couple times on the first couple where I just shook my head and said, what is going on here? Like the, what I have dubbed, the Doobie Brothers section at 2:50 of Fire Dancer and the song Cancun. They really caught me off guard the first couple of listens. Now I totally dig those elements of the album and totally get it.
This album seems more musically adventurous but at the same time more cohesive than previous albums. I highly recommend it. |
