Band Biography:

Assaulter – An Australian two-piece band aligning with the Speed Metal tradition with a new view to kill. Formed as such in 2005 with the release of the 3 track demo ‘Proselytiser’, Assaulter showed a stripped back approach to Metal with a dark and epic feel – Consisting solely of S. Berserker, with the assistance of L. Bonic on the skins, it received a positive response both in Australia and overseas. With the aim of forming a solid band, AC was recruited for the drum crushing and battery. After some time the 2nd demo “Omnipotent” was recorded in late 2006. With the Speed angle increased, this demo is an example of what Assaulter is all about: Dark Speed Metal. With a wide range of influence and inspiration, Assaulter will continue to strive for a dark sound incorporating the raw traditions of metal, with aggressive hooks and malicious punch. Assaulter is currently working on new material and aiming for a full line up for the live attack. “OMNIPOTENT” OUT NOW – BUY IT BASTARDS!

Assaulter have signed with Singapore’s Pulverised Records for the CD release of the debut album. Recording is slated for February 2008................... The heavier than heavy vinyl version will be released through Germany’s mighty High Roller Records.

The 7" ’Subservience’ is now in the hands of Iron Bonehead Productions - Delay after fucking delay, as fucking usual. A release date will be confirmed soon. 2 songs will be carved into the vinyl - the final mastered version of ’Heavy Sits the Crown’ and ’The Eternal Soldier’. News on the Trench Hell split as it comes, should it come.

The call is out for a zealous Lead Guitarist and Bassist to complete our ranks for the upcoming album recording. Don’t be shy, grab your axe and be counted.
