Band Biography:

The cult Swedish black metal act which Dissection leader Jon Nödtveidt contributed to (under the alias Reitas) in 1992 and 1993, have recorded a new album entitled Alongside Death, in Studio Beast in Sweden with producer Peter Bjargo (Meanwhile, Tyrant, Acana...)

Alongside Death, which is expected at the end of this year, will feature mainman Make Personen (Eternal Darkness, Karjalan Sissit...), Andreas Jonsson and D.F Bragman (Vinterland, Tyrant...)

Man it was during the tapetrading days when I got a hold of this classic. It was Jerry Vicek of Real Sickness 'zine who dubbed me a copy, and I remember being completely swept away with the atmosphere of the title track (particularly the part when the "organ" comes in).

Back in the day I was more into The Black and Bestial Summoning and Pagan Rites than say, Emperor or Mayhem. I think "The Priest of Satan" deserves a re-release (remastered and all) thru Pulverised!
