Just watched Last of the Mohicans for the first time in ages.

Forgot how violent it was, still one of my top 20 movies ever, possibly top 10.

IMO yes.

Just saw the proposition. Pretty much what I was expecting for a film written by Nick Cave - not a whole bunch of laughs, but good. I liked the fact every character was equally despicable...

due to boredom here at RC i was forced to go to the gym, look at bikes, ipods, and other assorted shit. i stopped by the movie theater to see how much time i could waste there. The Hills Have Eyes remake was showing but not for an hour....so i came home.
my point here is has anyone seen it? and my other question is: what is the fucking deal with remaking every horror movie ever made? i think *i* might remake one.

Shawshank Redemption was excellent, one of the better movies I've ever seen.

top 5 ever for Shawshank ... Freeman's narration alone should have won him an Oscar.
