I can confirm what other converts have been telling me - once it's done you realise it was no big deal all along, even if there were some niggling arguments for keeping it.

I don't miss the long hair at all. It was a pain in the ass...especially in the summer. Then again, it's been more than 13 years since I cut it so it's a little hard to accurately recall at this point.
