i was so fucking angry yesterday about my stolen bike that after work i went out and looked for it, knowing that it would MOST LIKELY be futile because stolen bikes are never, ever regained, BUT! i figured i must do SOMETHING to keep THEM from winning. i wasn't about to ACCEPT that this happened.

so i tried to retrace the path the guy most likely took (i.e. my bike was parked right outside my apartment, which is right by a bus stop, so i figured some drunk loser most likely thought "UHHHH WAITING FOR THE BUS TO GET DOWNTOWN (A 13 MINUTE WALK) IS TOO HARD LETS STEAL THIS BIKE") and fucking FOUND my bike parked outside a stupid red apartment building not too far from me, so i took it the fuck back, nailed a very angry notice to the wall where i found the bike saying basically "fuck you, i reported this shit to the police and i know where you live. get fucked forever." and WON. DON'T STEAL SHIT FROM ME.

i was going to knock on his door and confront him but the house must have had at least four-eight apartments and i couldn't really think of a smooth way to knock on people's doors to ask "hi, did you steal my bike?" before punching them in the nuts about it

i implied in the note i left that i had seen him take it (not true,) that i was not to be fucked with, and that the police were probably on to him (probably not true, but i did report it to the coppers) so i'm hoping he's shitting his pants and feeling a bit unsafe at the moment

i always said that i would never own an ipud, but my bro-in-law gave me one of his 80gb video ones and it is pretty sweet so far. i wanted something a little bigger than my 2gb creative, and seein ghow he had extras and ipud is compatible with EVERYTHING nowadays, including my car stereo...its a huge win/ now to see what this bullshit itunes thing is all about. got a feeling its gonna piss me off.

going to get the 120 gb classic one when i have spare cash so i can fit my entire collection in my pocket, gonna be sweet

Well, if you wanted to... Wine... not that you'd (or anyone with half a brain) want to.

Winamp works well with ipods these days. Just install "ipod support" when you install, it's under "portable media player support" I believe. You may need to use Itunes to enable disk support on the ipod first. That'll also allow you to do shit straight from the winders explorer.
