Yeah, it's pretty aweful. What surprised me the most was how incredibly tame and weak it sounded. I expected some really bad black metal, but with some heavy metal moments, but alas, they were not to be found. Just weak, horrid, worthless trite. Someone lock Jon back up.

Yeah, people shouldn't be comparing it to SotLB, but that much is obvious.
On it's own merit, it aint bad. And the fact that it's mid paced is a GOOD THING in my book. I think I started to like it on the 3rd listen in. Definitely worth a listen for those who haven't already written it off before hearing it. Then again, I have no affiliation to this band whatsoever. It's not like I was pining for another Somberlain. |
