Damn. If things don't workout next week (get a new copy or the post finally manage to reach you), PM me.

Eventually it has arrived yesterday! Phew. The german post is probably the most undependable bunch of people i've ever met.

First of all: The artwork is awesome. I really like these Digibook-packagings and in combination with the pictures you have taken for the booklet it really represents the mood for the album. It's also great that you printed the lyrics. I like this very metaphorical style of writing although i don't understand all of them. But am i right that the lyrics are about the loss of culture and the wrath of nature towards humanity?

I was pretty surprised when i heard your vocals the first time. I think they have highly improved compared to The Streams Of The End (which weren't all that bad on that one but somehow lacked of identity). The drumming of Marko really adds a lot of dynamics to the music although i have to say that the drumsound could be more... organic but that's maybe just me. To listen to this record is so much more than just listening to 4 tracks in a row... it's a journey through the deepest nature with it's rich mysteries and phenomenon... and that's something i have highest regard for!

Great to hear that it arrived eventually.

You're somewhat right about the lyrics, those themes are a big part of the whole album.

Thanks about the vocal-comments, I also thought they were much better this time. The drumsound is actually quite natural, nothing is trigged or fixed otherwise, but my lack of talent on mixing made it loose some of the original sound, so I know what you mean.

I'm maybe somewhat cosseted when it comes to drumsounds. I'm a drummer myself and pay a lot of attention to this. Do you know FEN's "Ancient Sorrow" MCD? In my opinion this is one of the best drums sounds for metal. I like these raw, thick and tinny snare sounds. It's a shame that it's common nowadays to
eliminate all the harmonics. The drums and especially the snare have to sing... but i'm pretty alone with this attitude.

But don't get me wrong. The drum sound of your new CD doesn't disturb the joy of listening but i think it's capable of improvement.

This is absolutely great music. It stands out in a sea of mediocrity.

Most likely not many will, as it will released in US (as jewelcase) by Moribund. Their site mentions the date to be 08.26.2008. I actually just fixed the coverart for it.
