Probably could've filled this entire list with just "pre-Watershed" Opeth songs (and the one Leprous song). 1. Opeth - Blackwater Park 2....
What a dick! You got me excited for nothing! I thought you were gonna say there was a new album or something...
While I generally prefer a little more bite to my post rock / metal, I did really enjoy that. I could listen to "Unmake The Wild Light" all day.
1. TesseracT - "Altered State" 2. Ihsahn - "Das Seelenbrechen" 3. Bruce Soord / Jonas Renske - "Wisdom Of Crowds" 4. Enshine - "Origin" 5....
I liked the album, but I found that it always gave me a headache half way through lol.
I'm surprised I haven't seen any mention of the new TesseracT album. I still have some more discs I need to check out, but I'm pretty sure that...
I'm liking the new album from Year Of No Light. I think the whole "post metal" thing has died down in recent years, but there is still great music...
Love it!
Interesting. Will have to hear the rest of the album before I pass judgement.
New Russian Circles came out recently. Their drummer never stops blowing me away. [media]
This song is from the side project of Jonas Renkse (Katatonia) and Bruce Soord (Pineapple Thief). Sounds promising. [media]
This is great news. Never seen Cult of Luna live before. I'm there!
Another one off the new Sirenia album. This is my favorite song: [media]
Nice find.
The new TesseracT album just came out. Not as good as the recent Skyharbor album in my opinion, but still very good:...
Sounds promising to me. Time to get the album (if its out).
I'm going to go with a song off the new October Falls album. [media]
I just got the Atoma album recently after sitting on my to buy list for a while. Such an outstanding album. I'm surprised it hasn't gotten more...
I know its not their best album, but one of my favorite 5.1 albums is the "Lightbulb Sun" album from Porcupine Tree. It also helps that...
So it finally came out... and somehow I missed it! Sounds good.
