Ermz: when you do some equalizations to your miced guitars, do the guitars lose its natural recorded "room sound" and "3d feel"?
Does the iphone (on 100%?) work on this stuff?:) And btw, devices which work there, are only ipod and iphone?
would you recommend some good (maybe cheap) mp3 player for playing samples on gigs?
It should have:
- small wheel...
no high/lowpass on my master, I don't know, why is that so muddy :-/
I tried re-mix it and track guitars with one sm57...
yep, even 3 splitted basses (I know, bass still sound like shit:)), low, grit, and dry DI
tc konnekt 24d
btw thanks guys, but that clip sounds me flat and lacks punch :/
I tried another shot with fredman technique:...
What do u think? Any ideas how to improve overall mix?
thx in advance
bump as a fuck (sry for that :))
I've got a question - when you do recordings with fredman technique, do u quadtrack?
I mean, If you reamp one...
have you heard this album? Does anyone know what amps/cabs did they use?
And how could be achieved these fuckin' punching palmmutes?
same question:) (I like that guits)
that doesnt sound bad to me, I like lowend, but guitars sounds thin to me
I think, I have compressed the whole drum kit, added a little reverb
and bass I re-recorded to be more precise, and re-mixed, one...
New version with better bass, maybe a little clipping:
what do u say? how could I improve this...
but I'm not satisfied, I'm not able to get the better tone, setup is peavey 6505->mesa 2x12 rect->sm57->goldmike preamp->tc...
very short test.
btw, sorry for sloppy playing
what do u think about guitar tone?...
I tried 2 days ago, he hasn't responded yet:)
