SMF in.... Everett?? Not Worth Going to.....

I had high hopes for this year's 'fest, but after seeing the line-up, and then the many delays, and now Seattle Metal Fest is being held in Everett? A friend and I really wanted to go, but looks like we'll be sitting this one out.

What happened?

here's a statement from the promoter:

OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT from the SMF Promoter:

Seattle Metal Fest 2004 has been moved to Jimmy Z's in Everett, Washington. Everything else will remain the same. More bands will be added to the line-up due to a second stage being available. I apologize for the inconvenience on this matter, but due to a conflict of interest between the club owner and promoter, I have to do what's best for the show. I didn't want to have to do this, but I had no choice. Unfortunately, Seattle Metal Fest will be 21 and over. If you are under 21 and have purchased tickets, you can get a refund - write us and let us know. Tickets are available at Jimmy Z's, Silver Platters, Cellophane Square, or right here through the SMF site. You can also win tickets through KISW's Metal Shop. I know there has been a lot of changes on this fest, but I assure you that it will still be a kick ass show.

I live in Everett, so there's no reason for me NOT to be there.

I do have to step out for a prior commitment briefly, but I'll be there! Looking forward to hearing some eardrum blowing metal!!!!
