Cool. Thanks for posting those. For fans like me, who live too far away to see you live, it's always cool to see pictures of you guys in action.

Nope. I switched to second guitar parts sometimes but did not do any solos (for example during the choruses of 'And The Meek' I alternated between playing the guitar1 chords and the guitar2 chords). Fortunately, most of our "solo" sections are not just repeated riffs from the verses but rather an entirely different rhythm riff, so I think it still comes off OK.

Shadow Demon @ The Vortex
Jeff,
Seeing your show Saturday turned out to be the highlight of my vacation this week. Seriously, it's the first time I saw you perform as a group where I could actually see everyone on the stage. Just 'cause I'm Blaine's sister doesn't mean I get any viewing advantages: 'Hey! Put one of those orange cones down for me right near the stage and don't let anyone take my spot until I get there.....' I liked the lighting at The Vortex. It participated in the music instead of being annoying back shine. When I drop the kids off at school, they always turn down the music before getting out. Recently, when Grimoire of Ruin was playing, my son actually turned it up before getting out. I guess Shadow Demon passes the cool test. That bottom most picture makes an awesome desktop. I'll be watching your site for more.... -Bev |
