If you really need recommendations, make a lastFM profile page and add the (folk)bands you like to your "library" and see what recommendations you get.

Why hasn't anyone mentioned Heidevolk and Windir yet? =P If you like blackened folk metal, I know some more you might like

I think this thread was initially started with hope that the recommendations would be non-metal folk bands.
