A few Japanese stores I believe ordered copies of the reg. version but until a Japanese label wants to license the record there probably won't be one.

That's disappointing. I assumed that the bands label (Pivotal) simply licensed the record out to whatever label they wanted to handle the release (King Records presumably) as they did with the other 3 albums.

Do you know if there were any bonus tracks lined up/put aside in case there was a Japanese release?

Well that's what I said. So far no Japanese label wanted to license the record yet. And what makes you think King Records? Pivotal has never worked with them haha, in the past it was Sound Holic.

Understood now. And I just assumed King because they released Skyfire's 3 previous albums in Japan.
