Well I get bored sometimes and I write poems that have similarities to Symphony X's lyrics.

Criticism is welcome... I know I'm not too great. lol. Ok... I know... some are too SymX-ish. Added some drawings I did. lol. Enjoy!

Here are just a few:

-[Farewell To Blackened Skies]-

A stranger in this land
I raise my bloody hand
When the sun rises up in the sky
To the end we fly

And on the final night
The trumpet calls aloud
Awaken by the blinding light
The chosen rise up to the cloud

Leaving the darkness far behind
Vision comes to me, so blind

But I will run
Forever more
Beyond the sun
Beyond the door

And from the rising sun
Comes a brighter day
For this life is done
And the time has come to fly away

In between the worlds I lie
To the gates of heaven we fly

Never rising higher
The Devil's falling down
Straight into the fire
Forever he will drown

Angels flying in the sky
Can you hear the trumpet sound?
To the end of life we fly
I am falling to the ground

You will fade
With all your dreams
You raise the blade
Oblivious of death it seems

I say, "Farewell!"
To blackened skies
Strike the bell
The world of lies

There is no greater joy I find
Then leaving this dead world behind

So lift me high, beyond the sun
Take me to the promised land
All wrongdoing, it is done
You carry me within your hand

Angels flying in the sky
Can you hear the trumpet sound?
To the end of life we fly
I am falling to the ground

Attempting total domination
He claims heaven as his nation

Ruler of the serpents, ruler of lies
We can hear your cries
With the wind it never dies

Rising against the creator of existence
He claims domination
Another failed resistance
He's destined to damnation

"I will dominate
Paradise I'll recreate"
Cast into this world of perfection
The serpent spreads the vicious infection

Falling down from shattered skies
Ruler of the serpents, ruler of lies
We can hear your cries
With the wind it never dies

He leads the horde
Of the serpent's bloody sword
He's the man within the nightmare
He is the face of my despair

Once an angel of the city of gold
Now beaten down and growing old
With eyes of death
And fire in his breath

Falling down like shattered glass
Waiting in the shade of night
Waiting for this time to pass
Watching as they fall and fight

Warriors fall
And swords collide
Standing tall
In the sky they ride

As steel meets steel
And the sky ignites
The death I feel
On these endless nights

Bodies slain
Upon the bloodstained shore
It once gave me pain
But now I cry no more

So much sorrow
Before my eyes
I must reach tomorrow
A reach beyond the world of lies

The night reflects
Within my tear stained-eyes
My mind the earth infects
Broken down by lies

You ask me how it's done
On this day without the sun
It's the light within my soul
The savior in this nightmare, dull

He who gives me life
And washes sin away
He who overpowers knife
And secures for me, a brighter day

How can this be?
What's come of me?
Why can't you see?
LORD SET ME FREE!

Trapped within the dream
Throwing all I loved behind

Symphony of flames
Songs of doom
Calling cursed names
To the whitewashed tomb

Will I ever see?
Will I ever know?
Is this really me?
Where am I to go?

Writer of my destiny
Creator of my life
Show me my true destiny
Help me drop the bloody knife

Take this pain away

Rip away this blackened page
I can't read what the Devil says will come

The clock is ticking as we wait
The bell shall ring at the darkest hour
Our hearts are burning, full of hate
Run towards the highest tower

People taking refuge in the graves
Dwelling in the pit within
People selling themselves as slaves
Giving in to hidden sin

Every single broken warrior
Looking for a refuge in the dark
Waiting in the dark forever more
On this journey we embark

Off the edge of the highest mountain Searching for the crown
Thirsting for an enchanted fountain
We're on a path that's twisted down

No hope at all
Not a horror to compare
Another time I fall
Into the pit of my despair

A search is pointless
No end I find at all
But when I am lifeless
I can here the kingdom call

"Come to the tower
I will guide you with my ever burning flame
The time has come for a brighter hour
We have come to see the end of this game!

Rise again from the burning ashes
Fire never burning out
Though broken down by a thousand lashes
Never again will you be in doubt"

Beyond this world of hate
Is a land no man could create

And I will come to see
All the visions of eternity
Life after death
I take my final breath

I will live forever
In the kingdom of the light
Never fading, ever
To the end, for God I'll fight

The king of kings
Is king of all
Ruler of all things
Savior for the fall

That sounds more like christian rock.

Some parts are better than others.

Yeah. I am a christian so certain ones are going to have that more than others. I had a series that was like 100% of that, and then I've had 100% mythology ones also. this is just a big mix of different ones from different series releases. And thanks about the drawing
