Eric announces some huge surprises in the setlist

for the new tour!
That happened in an interview for Poland's biggest internet portal.

He said they are going to change the setlist drastically and include:
A day of reckoning (well, it was written "dead reckoning" but non-metal sites sometimes make such mistakes)

"Do or die"
"The burning times"
"Dog faced gods"
plus about 5 new songs

Sounds good to me. I'll probably have a heart attack when I hear "A day of reckoning live" and if I manage to survive, "Do or die" will surely finish me

Oh, he also said they've 3 or 4 songs almost ready (one of them is a "sensational" ballad, kinda resembling "Trail of tears")- which we've already heard. And that they're planning to get into studio again early 2010! I'm glady they're already thinking about it instead of resting on their laurels and enjoying the success of "Formation.."

Dog Faced Gods.... *splooges*

if they played Trail of Tears, Jun-Jun or Urotsuikidoji then I'd die from the over-awesomeness of it all. God almighty...

Wait so what do you mean? They already have some new songs recorded besides whats on TFOD? and one of them is a ballad? BTW that would just be sick and surreal to see Alex thrashing on Demonic and Low songs. Thats like, when two worlds collide.

I saw the first night in San Fran. Hell of a show. Alex just grinded away on the riffs from the Low and Demonic records. The new songs absolutely slay live.

Is "Alex grinded away" a good thing? Or do you mean he kinda half hearted played through the songs?
