I think endgame sounds perfect what is wrong with being able to hear all the instruments crisp and clear? I absolutely agree Chuck has the best growls..scratch that the best voice in metal period, unless you like singy guys.Chuck sounds like he is straight from hell sometimes! I don't even know what the fuck power metal is but it sounds like an Oxy Moran to me.If you ask me some people (not you) go way out of their way to come up with stupid new classifications. It's not the name that makes you original and different. |

the category of power metal has many sub-categories within the genre. Some bands have keys and some bands without, but you will notice the high vocals in power metal and the drums are similar to thrash but different. Power metal does get shit for some of the fantasy themed bands like Rhapsody, but there is talent in this field of metal.

Sure I can hear the talent but the keys just kill it for me lol! Some Thrash does have vocals like that so I don't really get why it has a whole different classification just because it has keys. But what are ya gonna do right?! that's the way it is.
Ok maybe it's not quite as vicious as Thrash. Last edited by redfly : February 8th, 2010 at 01:26 PM. |

Go back to Db tuning, everything else should stay as it is right now. ooo and keep Sneap, I'm sure they will do.

I like the old tuning too.I don't think it's the tuning that makes a band sound current, as long as they play ferociously.
Yeah they gotta keep Sneap,I bet he is getting more and more expensive though. |

I love death metal, so if you were to take the song Demonic Refusal and make an album in the same vein I would probably be pissing myself in excitement.
Love chucks DM growls and the heavier driven songs ![]() |

I'm not sure what you mean? Most of the entire Demonic album is death metal like Demonic Refusal...I'm not a huge death metal fan but I love that album, Chucks voice is so fuckin brutal!!
Or do you mean another album like that? |

I honestly don't know what mt favorite albums are.I know the Gathering is probably #1.But it's so hard to choose.I do with the solos on the legacy flowed a little better. But the rest of the album is sick.I wish Reign of Terror was on it.
