Atrox

Just found this band in my friend requests. They call themselves "Psychadelic Progressive Metal" and it's fitting! They give Pain of Salvation a run for their money. Check them out, let me know what you think. It's not everyday that I go, "Holy Shit!" over a band that randomly found me.

I dont like them they are too weird. If you remeber Barking Pumpking from about two years ago (one of the biggest prog snobs ever) on the PP forum, he absolutely loved them.

Just looked at the website...yes the same band....but she isn't in the band anymore. I remember her vocals being very quirky and needing to be in the right mood to listen to them.

Am I the last person to find out about this band? That's what I get for burying myself in the Japanese indie scene for a few years.

Two of the songs on their myspace player have her vocals. Well, I pressume it's her.

Yes, "Sultry Air" and "Lay" are Monika. I believe I first heard of them in 2000.

Where the hell have I been?! I just fell in love with them this morning!
I guess they're one of those bands that slipped by all these years.
