Man, last night I finished writing a new song called "Absolution Day," and I must admit I am so excited about it! I think it's going to be one of the best Theocracy songs ever. I kept driving around at 2 a.m. CRANKING the demo because it sounded so good, even with the drum machine and no vocals...hopefully I'll finsh the lyrics in the next couple of days so I can put some scratch vocals down, and Shawn will lay down the drums on the demo when he gets back from his honeymoon (he's coming back today).

Musically, it's pretty fast and epic. Lyrically, it's kinda like a Metal "Amazing Grace" or something in that its message is simple yet very powerful and anthemic. Sorry to write about something that you guys won't hear until next year, but I couldn't contain my excitement! So just have peace in the knowledge that the writing for the next album is going VERY well so far.

You aren't the only one who is excited about something they're writing, wait...I should stop myself before everyone thinks I am a conceded egomaniac. Nevermind.

Anyway, I am sure "Absolution Day" will be awesome, hard to top "Mountain" though.

BTW, What is your fav. Theocracy song Matt?
