I talked to Jon yesterday after the concert in Landau. The guys are working on the new album, but it will take some time until it's going to be released.

Well, we've been promised it won't take as long as the gap between the first and second cds, so between now and... three years. Haha.

From what I've gathered, they've already written up enough for a third album, but honestly, I'm glad they choose to go for quality over quantity. It shows! If you want to know more, there are bits of info here and there all over the forums here. Dig around!

Another tip for good, happy success: Don't drink milk from the carton. You'll go blind.

Ok, can we all agree to use this thread as the official "new album" thread?

Secondly, my girlfriend is totally amazing, and, more relevantly, has a mac. Therefore, she has iRecord, so she was nice enough to record the live video of "Nailed" in mp3 format for me...and I'd be willing to share if asked nicely enough.

Sorry for the radio silence lately. I just saw the discussion of the new album in another thread, and that info was right: all the demos are almost done, but we haven't actually started recording for real yet. Still have to finish writing one song, but soon we're going to go ahead and start rehearsals on the new stuff and get ready to start recording.

I'm looking forward to getting back to it. I've been absolutely swamped for the last few months with the tour, trying to finish up projects I'm recording and/or mixing for other bands, moving, etc., but things should slow up after the next couple of weeks. Since you guys are so cool and patient, here's a little teaser for ya, made up of short clips from my demos of the new songs (key word: DEMOS).

OMG! THEY SOUND GOOD! I like inside the fairy tale or whatever you call it! It was cool. The second to last one I really liked also. All of them were good.

I listen to a lot of bands on the net. From You tube to various music forums and there isn't anyone, other than signed professional acts that come anywhere near to Theocracy.

The melodies, arrangements and musicianship is outstanding and this third album sounds like it's to be the finest yet.

I'm a new Theocracy fan. I have "Mirror of Souls" and I just ordered "Theocracy" from the website the other day. Hopefully that will keep me content until the new album comes out. The demo's ROCK! Thanks Matt. Keep the faith, bro.
