What I read from the book seems to support this idea.

I felt that but had no cogent arguments. Thank you once more.
haven´t read the book, but I know the text of the vineyard workers.
When you are working you have the relief that you ar gonna get paid, beside you are a worker not the owner, as long as the day goes by, if you don´t get Contracted you are worrying more and more, at the end you get the same, no matter the time you get in because it doesn´t matter what you do, what really matters is that you are working for the owner. Now if you get contracted in the beggining you are gonna get more time to share and be blessed to work with the Owner!!!

Exactly. There IS a way to be happy in this world. So why wait for the afterlife?

Yes, it is not Easy because the world would tell you that you are wasting your lifetime, it´s hard but not impossible, and the joy of work with God is differente than the joy of work with the world

idk about Hammerfall, but definitely Symphony X. Paradise Lost was different too, but they still kept some of the melodic stuff that almost disappeared over the new one

Re: Off-Topic

I felt like the entire album, musically, was Paradise Lost part 2. I liked Paradise Lost, but 90 minutes of songs that sound very similar to each other? An EP would've probably been better.

I liked "When All Is Lost" but the other tracks have grown very dull .

That's true, but the same could be said of Paradise Lost, but I really like that album :P

Edit: Mark Jansen's side project came out today (in America).....it's far better than Symphony X or Hammerfall.....and INFINITELY better than Within Temptation. So far, Quarterpast by MaYaN is getting metal album of the year from me....and it's only competition for overall album of the year is Red's Until We Have Faces.

Theocracy can still sweep both categories though....Mirror of Souls is better than both those albums, so I know they have it in them.

the quality is crap, as always, but your playing is really great (liked it) and you'd get a lot more views if the name and quality were a little more viewer-friendly

that usually wins me over

something accessible...i don't know, the "please like" doesn't cut it
try thinking what would you click first when you see it as a related video on the side of a certain video

MAB 'Lick of the Day' Contest Entry!
would be good or add by Shades

psychology works...

this is just my opinion as an observer

Dredging up an oldish topic, I know, but there wasn't a better place for this, and it's too bizarre not to share. Apparently Amazon's recommendation system could use a bit of work.

Sure it computes - Nickelback is selling legions of albums, and Amazon makes a nice cut. Since it's so popular, they figure it's a safe reccomendation to get people to spend more money.

Yeah, I get what you're saying, but it usually the recommendations - though not always the best in the world - do have some sort of connection. In the same genre at least. I look at this stuff fairly often and I've never seen anything THAT far off.

Tourniquet has all of their albums on Bandcamp for 99 cents for anyone who cares.

Link.

And apparently...Anonymous took down the Christian Metal Realm. There's already a new CMR up and running, but losing all of the threads and such on the old one really is a shame.
