Just discovered through my Facebook feeds that today is a dark day for L.A. tribute bands and us fans. The Santa Fe Springs Swap Meet decided to let go of our good friend Maleni, who worked so hard over the years to unite us headbangers to see The Iron Maidens, Damage Inc., Just Like Priest and other great tribute bands there. Details are pretty sketchy at the moment, but this means Rock and Roll Swap Meet is dead. :(

Maleni, we'll always love you and support you wherever you'll be. :headbang:

oh no! But are you sure rnr swap meet is dead? Perhaps they didn't leave on bad terms and it's still on.

However, she does run another swap meet somewhere. I forget what city - i love sfs though, down the street from me. :(

She wasn't singled out, and there will be more coming. The place will never be the same. They will see their error in ways sooner than they know. I cannot say I wish them luck.

Maleni still rocks. Their loss will be someone else's massive gain.
