Bollie(Manitou) and I have started a new band called Son·IC

We allready have a bunch of songs ready, but while we're waiting on finishing the album, we're having fun with a few cover songs of bands we love.

First out is a cover of a Fates Warning classic - Exodus.

I'd like to stress that there is no way we could do this song as good as the original, but I hope you like our version.

I first laid down the vocals trying to sound as identical to the original as possible, but we soon realized it was just plain stupid to try to sing like John Arch. Only John Arch can do John Arch. I then started to make small rhythmic changes to make my singing fit the song. You'll hear the differences if you compare it to the original. Please don't, haha.

sounds great as always, Oyvind! it took a few listens to get used to the low guitars after being so familiar with the Fates album version. vocals are superb and you're right, there's truly no duplicating John Arch!

Diary of a Madman sounds great too!
