THEOCRACY – Theocracy / Metal Age

A one man band from the States and a concept album that is good enough to make a lot of heads turn their way. The music can be described as power metal with a few progressive elements here and there and an epic feeling in it. The music is really great and the voices even better and the album is well worth your time and money. There are some cool keyboard passages in the album and the arrangements are absolutely great while it is amazing the fact that this guy can play all the instruments so well, since the musicianship is truly good. Of course not everything is perfect but I was pleasantly surprised by the album. There’s enough talent in this man and he seems to have music in him and it is the first power metal album I truly enjoyed since quite some time. Grab the album wherever you find it and search for it and you might be surprised as well.

Cool man, thanks for sharing. A lot of good new reviews have been coming out lately, which is good to see.

P.S. nice NP—album of the year, for sure! But I knew it would be. ;)
