Onqel, thanks for posting this. Fantastic song, love it! I'm a noob at this stuff so here's my attempt and it's no where near the fidelity of your mix. Your mix is excellent. Glad I'm the first to post because that sets the bar quite low and it should all get better from here lol.

    @ Onqel :

While mixing, I wonder what Vst instrument was used for the piano and violas parts ? the Piano feel very natural...

Dimension Pro for the piano and strings .. i used the alien piano preset and removed the "alien" sounds, violins/violas are LASS

Only could check it o cans so far... Overall sound is well balanced i think. But i really wish to hear some epic hall verb on strings and synth stuff (Lexicon 480L Hall IR´s come to mind), delay on piano sounds alright though. I know it´s a matter of taste... Esp. on Orch. only parts your mix lacks some big verb tails at least for me.

You use compression on your drum-bus? Some more glue on drums (apart from my own) and mentioned reverb for Orch. stuff and your in the ballpark:headbang:

BTW: I´m no native english speaker;)

Onqel, I hope someday to get to that level of quality. Sounds big and in your face. Excellent!
