i've been hearing a lot about this film. thanks for posting the trailer! that dude in the blue sweatshirt is their producer, who has worked with a lot of successful bands. he was in the most recent issue of Tape Op magazine. -Evan

I actually had an oppurtunity to play with anvil in sudbury some years back, Lips told us of his story of when he rolled the truck on Ranger Lake Road and the top of the truck was pentrated by a tree which stopped the roll and only a few tubes were broken in the amps. Boy do they love thier weed! He had many other stories to share with bands he played with and LArs back in 84 talkin about thier album being breakthrough. I cannot wait to see this movie after meeting Lips.
This was playing the past 2 nights in Toronto but I don't have the money... boooo. I hope it gets more widespread release so people can see it then who don't have the opportunity now- kinda like Sam Dunn's films
Anvil was the first band ever to both perform and host a screening at SXSW this year and of course I missed it. Far too many amazingly awesome shows for one week.
