    Hi Krow,

Could you please explain to me the difference between death metal and brutal death metal?

    I genuinely have no idea

    Thanks

What do you think of Viraemia? Rings Of Saturn? Spawn Of Possession? They are a lot like Braindrill.

Pelican does not write in the standard key of metal. They are an instrumental alternative rock band which happens to use a lot of do0uble kick on the drums, which I guess is why they get lumped in w/ metal bands.
Brain Drill is completely intolerable. Sure, it is impressive how they can jam a billion notes into a measure of music, but it is just not enjoyable.
Here's a band I never hear about 'round here: Samael. Everything up to and includi9ng Passage was damn good imo.

Spawn of Possession are fucking awesome, both of their albums are pretty solid, especially Cabinet .... but i wouldn't say they sound too similar to Brain Drill or Viraemia (who i think are fucking horrible) ... never heard of Rings of Saturn.

I remember hearing Spawn of Possession awhile ago and I enjoyed it but I'm pretty sure they didn't sound anything like Brain Drill.

Heterosexuality of glam metal is unlimited, compared to nerds wanking their instruments thinking they're brutal.

Since when does glam metal need to be compared relative to anything to appear heterosexual?

Glam metal is entirely heterosexual on its own. There is more testosterone in Motley Crue than in every black metal or whiny doom metal or ass-slapping retro thrash band praised here.

It's the truth. TheNightsBane's idea of heterosexual metal is teenagers in leather jackets giving each other brojobs on how fuckin metal they are. Cinderella makes those bands its bitches.
