Yeah. I mean, maybe I have heard a radio song, but I am not sure. I couldn't name one of their songs, so I wouldn't even know.
How are they?
Good. I'd get a compilation of theirs first.
If you aren't into compilations, I'd either get their first album or Live at the Fillmore
Black Hearted Woman
Allman Brothers are the shit. Dickey Betts and Greg Allman were a great duo. Live at the Fillmore is a solid live album.
Check out these tracks:
Stormy Monday (blues cover)
In Memory of Elizabeth Reed (one of the best instrumentals ever)
Whipping Post (20 minute jam)
Also the song "Dreams" should be mentioned. Fucking love the Allmans.
I like the Allman's cover of Statesboro Blues
I listen to the Allmans more than Zeppelin and Floyd.
4000th post Fuckers!!!
My dad really likes Allman Brothers, but they don't do much for me. I can't find anything that's really wrong, they just don't excite me very much.
HAHAHAAA... i got this
On topic, As I Lay Dying.
I checked out some of the bands, Kingdom of sorrow really didn't do it for me but madball and that heaven shall burn album were pretty good. i still gotta check out the rest of the bands mentioned here, thanks!
^If you like Hatebreed...you should LOVE Kingdom of Sorrow.
Not necessarily true
KOS have plenty of breakdowns like Hatebreed. Really the only difference is a southern flare thrown in from the guys from Down.
very true, i remember when perserverence came out, it was great for the gym.
bands ala hatebreed - sworn vengeance, sworn enemy, early bury your dead, early throwdown, alot of early victory recs stuff like no innocent victim, xdeathstarx, the break in (uk), xsentencex, awoken (uk), crown of thornz, first blood, stampin ground (uk), maybe some merauder or taste of blood, cold as life, 4 in tha chamber
Any metal does it for me when I'm working out.
When I'm lifting weights I just want it hard, heavy and fast. Slayer does great for me.
lifting weights or having sex?
he is talking about hardcore/moshcore bands.
thick as blood
thats all i got.
