(ideally looking to an alternative for the Waves PAZ Analyzer)
http://www.mhsecure.com/products/SpectraFoo/ works great for me
NuGen is not a hog. Accurate. Nice colors.
maybe this one is the right one for you...and it's free
I prefer this one, also free- http://www.bluecataudio.com/Products/Product_FreqAnalyst/

Not a plugin but is really good.
This is what I'm using. Not necessarily cause it's good, but because I'm so used to it. I hate the PAZ.
BlueCat plugins are oozing with awesome.
Outstanding, the Blue Cat looks exactly like what I need. Thanks all!
Another nice free one from Roger Nichols
How do you guys use the analyzer in your mixes?
I always have one in the last insert but dont look at it really often...
I'm using the same and love it
Voxengo and gvst have gotta be some of the best producers of free plugins
Thx man, never heard of em until now
Gonna give it a try
I do the same I like to use it when soloing instruments or combinations like drums and bass to see what frequencie range they using collectively
It's not meant to be an analyser, but I always liked the analyzer in firium best
In addition, in bluecataudio you can zoom on FFT. With Inspector, frequency are always display with mouse.
+1 on SpectraFoo, but it's not free nor cheap...
yeah +1 on that pricey baby
Yeah, BlueCat here, too.
