Anyone going to see the Big Four show? I bought a couple tickets and taking my son to see that. This will be strange to see a live show in this manner rather than a concert film... Just curious what you all think? I will say this the thing kicks off at 7:30 PM PST and it set to run about 4 hours. I'll watch a couple Metallica songs and split! At least that's what I'm saying now...

I don't think they're showing it live in Australia. I'm in two minds about going.

I haven't purchased tickets in advance but if there's some left I'll check it out; sounds pretty fun.

Anthrax sounded the best. They played Heaven and Hell live. Megadeth were good but, Dave Mustaine must have blown out his voice. He can't hit high notes and makes up for it doing falsettos that sound like somone badly copying King Diamond.
Slayer's set sounded muddy. They were good though.

In between Slayer and Metallica members of all the bands told Dio stories.

Metallica had a good setlist. Only one newer song ( Cyanide ? ) and the rest were from And Justice , The Black Album, and the 1st 3 albums.

Near the end members from all the bands came on stage and helped play/sing Am I Evil together. That was a cool moment.

4 hrs. and 37 min. long. No intermission in this movie. I believe Lars said this was going to be out on DVD.
