    Cheers guys.

I am waiting to hear about waves and slate mostly...

The question is should I wait to buy VMR or is the price already as good as it gets?

I wouldn't expect VMR to be on sale for at least 6-12 months with it being a new product.

First mention I've seen of that, thanks for the heads up. £20 for an upgrade is a no brainer!

Audiodeluxe email just arrived in my inbox with some good deals, EZmix 2 and EZkeys for $49 each. Neither are what I'm interested in but it's a bargain non the less.

The deals are starting to come through alright.

I am waiting on the waves deals. Mainly because I just brought Renaissance maxx a few days ago for $149, so only $15 a plugin as there are 10 in the pack.
I'm hoping it won't be cheaper ha ha but I thought that was a pretty hot price given the plugins included for that price.

I want bass rider to be cheap! ha ha

Took a look at the Zildjian cymbals, and that list price totally looks like something they pulled out of their ass. At least the European webstores I just visited show a list price of under 1000€, which would make it a pretty far stretch to $2000.

Anyone know if Sweetwater has a habit of doing this, or are cymbals really just twice as expensive in the US?

Wow I forgot about it ! I actually got it with the channelstrip for a no-brainer deal of like 30 bucks or something some time ago ! Thanks

If someone needs headphones for rehearsing or something, this looks pretty sweet : http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/ATHM10

I am waiting for waves as well. I might do the (in)sanity of going the Mercury road if it's cheap, because it looks to me that it would be the best idea to have a good bank of plugins which don't necessit an ilok and which allows me to mix on the go with the laptop at any time. I have sold some plugins for that in the past and have a few licenses to sell afterwards to make that transition.
