OMG what an awesome book!! I've no doubt that you'll enjoy it, and that afterwards, you'll invest in all 10 volumes of Gaiman's seminal graphic novel the Sandman.

    Yup.

I had a serious aversion to Moby Dick after reading 2 chapters for an English class I was taking, 2 chapters in which nothing happened. But I think that was before I actually understood and could fully enjoy naturalistic, cynical writing (thanks to Hemingway and Faulkner), so now I'm actually quite interested in taking a stab at it.
