Awesome. Reminds me of this one that I found some months ago (Nothing to do with Bodom, not even metal, but still I found it cool):
This major/minor happy/sad theory would be more clear to inspect without changing also the vibe and mood of the song.
Changing the key a song goes in is bound to change the vibe and mood. That's precisely the reason metal bands use minor, harmonic minor, locrian and diminished scales. It's quite impossible to make anything sound anything but happy when using major scales. Sounds far darker than the original IMO. I quite like it. Looking at his channel he has loads of other COB songs programmed in a similar way.
This is probably the first drum cover I've ever seen on the forum! (Considering I've been here for seven years and one day, that's quite something). Good cover as a whole. A few things here and there that were a bit off (Some of the fills, nothing more serious than that), but that's normal. If possible, it'd be nice to get the bass drum slightly higher in the mix. Welcome to the forum
What is it that makes some chicks possessed to spend time practicing songs? Maybe they really want to appeal to some metal dude.
Or she just, you know, likes the music, same reason you’re learning bass. Unless you’re instead expecting bounties of women to flock to you because of some sweet bass lines
This song has these powerful little nyances in many places and it's frustrating when most don't get them in the right vibe. This is a pretty medium. This song has always allowed creative expression for the moods in riffs and melodies in the verse, bridge and chorus. Still waiting for the ultimate cover where someone gets them all right in their epicness.
This is really good. Reminds me of the Inearthed era Towards Dead End intro thing that they played on an acoustic guitar.
