CHIMAIRA Blame 'Visa' Issues For Drummer's Departure - Aug. 3, 2004 CHIMAIRA have issued a short statement confirming their split with former SOILWORK drummer Richard Evensand and the addition of ex-MISERY INDEX skinsman Kevin Talley to the group's ranks. "There are many reasons for the split, most of which have to do with visa issues," the band write on their web site. "CHIMAIRA kick off the Road Rage tour [Tuesday] night in their home town Cleveland and are excited to have Kevin behind the kit. Recommended to the band by SLAYER's Kerry King, Talley will also accompany the group on their inaugural trips to Japan and Australia in September.
