Well, between James and SavaNanny, you guys just about covered it all for me, although I had forgotten all about the cab ride quotes! Guess we started a little early in the hotel room... :kickass::heh:

ALL the bands kicked butt Saturday night!!! :headbang: I had a total blast!

Patrick, you and your boys keep getting better and better every time I see you!!!! :headbang::kickass: Good luck tackling the gig at Masquerade...:)

Was a very happy camper to see my buds in HW again after their little hiatus. They ruled as usual!!! rock: (the new outfits are awesome, Jon, to answer your question)

Was great to finally see OC! Twas a fantastic show! :headbang:

    Speechless as to CIIC....:worship:notworthy:worship:

Of course, without our great friends, the Bishop trio, our weekend would not have been complete!! :) My face hurts from laughing so much...

Also was a great time hanging with "the usual suspects" !! :kickass: We always manage to make all our shows a rockin' party!

Thank you, Hoyt, and everybody involved for one amazing night!!!!
Thank you, Karen, for the cake!!!! Incredible job!

Ok - for the record: Kathy makes THE best margaritas i've ever had in my LIFE! And I'm from Texas where there are plenty of mexicans that should be making them better than her...nope. Her's are the best. Wowzers!!! :kickass:

Well, if a certain someone (matt-odin's court-i'm calling you out) would have given ME tator tots instead of TESS, then I wouldn't have been so friggin' hungry when we got back!! That poor vending machine didn't know what was comin' when I hit it. :heh:

    Emo cut = not metal

I reserve the right to make fun of it until your hair grows longer. Then I'll come up with something else to make fun of. Until then, you can cry while you listen to your My Chemical Romance album while looking at this site: http://www.emo-corner.com/emo-boys-kissing/

    Thanks! Much appreciated. :)

I've been using in-ears for years, but I finally "forced" everyone else to use them too. ;)

Thank YOU! I'm serious. You need to stop thanking everyone else because you're the man! Seriously folks, Hoyt works hard, is humble and respectful, and very fair. Support his shows - he is doing this for fans of metal!

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed us! Judging from the recording I heard of the show, the 2nd half was better as the sound man started to get a hold of how to mix the many elements we had going on.

Thanks! And know that we'd LOVE to come back to Atlanta! We've played shows around the US here and there, and we've never had such a warm welcome from so many amazing people! :)

Thanks! We have a lot of fun playing, so it's good that folks enjoy watching us. And I enjoyed watching the other bands play too. Having played in the DC market for so long with lots of good bands, I can safely say the Atlanta area may be as strong (or even a stronger) market for this type of music. Kudos to Glenn, Hoyt, other promoters, and all the bands for busting their humps to build such a strong scene!

I'm extremely flattered, James! You are too kind! It was nice to meet you, and it is people like you who make driving for 26 hours in a 48 hour period worth every second of it! And yes, more rest would have yielded an even better performance. I know we were all feeling fatigued and not at the top of our game, but we knew we had to bring it anyway for all of you who came out. ;)

We can't wait to come back to Atlanta! Because of Hoyt, we got some great exposure and the beginnings to a solid start of a fanbase in Atlanta!

Thanks! It's always nice to hear such warm compliments. Hopefully now that you've been exposed to it, you can check out the new CD when it's out and appreciate it even more. :) We have sax on 3 tracks, so you can get your hotness factor x3. Rick told me the story about you 2 at PP1. Very cool!

Hey! That's not fair! I was practically throwing them at you (and a sandwich!) and you didn't want anything to do with it. Just cause Tess dove into them, don't blame me. :p Now I know that next time I need to get Rick to hold you down so I can make you eat them. :saint:

I was about to hit send last night when I accidentally hit that little button on the side of my mouse that made it go "Back" and I lost everything I had typed. So here we go again...

Yes, a huge thanks to Hoyt for organizing such an awesome show, bringing us down, and proving that southern hospitality is for real! And thanks to Glenn for bringing C2C to the table!

I agree, EbS really did do a nice job. Especially considering that the one guitarist had just learned his parts two days ago! Patrick really did a nice job behind the mic too! Yeah, who would've expected that tune out of HW?!?!?

Yes, Savino is a young but amazing player. He has been classically trained since the age of 5, but now he is a senior in college with a major in jazz performance (same with the sax player). For some reason Towson University in Baltimore is known in these parts for producing amazing musicians. I have no arguments with that! Savino is also not half bad on drums and is currently taking lessons for drums too. Craig (bass) is almost as young (23) and also quite the monster player. He was going to major in music at one point, but decided not to. However, DT is pretty much his favorite group and he can play a sick amount of DT material. Then there is John and I at the other end. Matt is stuck in the middle. We're just an eclectic bunch!

Yes, HW definitely delivered! They are one band that definitely understand s the meaning of "entertainment!" Their entrance was very cool and they delivered a solid performance.

C2C was awesome. The AC/DC at the end really caught me by surprise and how they crushed it was really amazing!

Cool! Please let me know when you DL that footage off the camera. You know we would really like a copy of whatever you got of us. Unfortunatey, my camera turned out a bit dark. The audio came out decent, but the video was not the quality I was hoping for.

Thanks Billy! It was great meeting you and getting the chance to hang out some. You aren't so bad yourself. ;)

Well, as Matt mentioned he does have training. I've been trying to get in with Steve for a while now, but it is really difficult since he is only in Baltimore on Tuesday's and I have my kids and live 45 minutes from where he teaches. I think I'm going to have to look for someone more local now. I know it is a necessity with the amount that I'm going to be singing now.

I agree! And what he did on the CD is truly amazing! Wait until you get that disk in your hands and listen to it on headphones!!! :headbang::headbang:

    Yes, it was!

Indeed! For the most part we were. Hell, most of us just bought them in the past MONTH! Matt has had his for a while now. I was doing good until one ear fell out. Then a few songs later the other ear fell out.

I really like having the different mixes -- especially since we have so much going on. I'd prefer more mixes so I could totally have my own, but three isn't too bad. The soundman did a pretty good job of dialing in a decent monitor mix for most of us too. I definitely like in-ears and will continue to use them, but I think the custom molds are definitely in my future!

Thanks! We've been wrking very hard at them! I know it wasn't perfect, but I know that we will continue to work hard at improving them. And yes, it is a challenge to harmonize and play at the same time -- especially considering the technical challenge of playing the material alone!

Thanks again for helping us out! :headbang:

Thank YOU, Hoyt! You are totally a class act and your hospitality will forever be remembered! If you and/or your family are ever up this way, I will definitely do the same for you!

And yes, thanks to everyone else as well! You really di dmake us feel welcome and man did that make it all worth it. Hoyt is NOT kidding, there was not much sleeping going on in the OC camp! Thanks for the kind words, Hoyt! I'm glad that we didn't disappoint! And we are just at the beginning of really getting our live show in shape! The next time will be even better!

Thanks dude! I know we all hope to be back soon too! Next time, we'll have to give ourselves a little more time to get settled! Yes, please keep supporting Pathfinder Promotions! Hoyt is working hard to build a scene down there, but can't do it without help from the fans. He does a great job and deserves all the respect and supprt people can give him!
