Well that's some good news
Yeah, I hope they get the rest of it.
I know the 'experts' on Blabber are making comments about the person who found them being suss and that Sharon wont pay up, and maybe they are right but it definitely reeks of the pricks realising they were not going to be able to do anything with what the stole so they got rid of it when they realised how much heat was coming down.
Yeah that's what I think. The heat just wasn't worth the hassle. Thankfully. You would think that for something like this they would have a buyer already lol.
Yeah it's pretty stupid to knock off a place like that without having a way to offload the goods even if it's just for drug money.
Stupid is as stupid does.
It will be interesting to see if they nab anyone for it now.
Geez that's a day or two old.
Oh my god this guy must have the best brain for publicity if he can actually spin this story and have anyone believe it. KK should hire this guy for a publicity kick.
The guy played on two, maybe three songs with the band. He was sacked, not quit, before they even got a decent deal despite Angus and Malcolm's brother owning the record company they signed too. His singing, good or not, was nothing on Bon and would not have launched the band to where they ended up, and he still thinks he's got a book in him and that someone wants him back in the band?
It might be true that a large part of AC/DC died with Malcolm but when they stood Brain down I'm sure this wankers name did not come up. You can just imagine the band meeting. "Do with go with Dave, who quit 40 years ago and has since played on stage less that KK, and played to less people than Skid Row, or do we ask Axl Rose to sing." Yeah that would have taken a lot of consideration.
The stupidest thing about this though is that he claims he wouldn't rejoin the band now, yet when Brian was stood down the fuckwit hit the press, including Blabber, and went on and on about how the only logical replacement for Brian was in fact him. He was the first and he should be the last. But now it's a case of no interest...yeah what a legend.
Lol Just like KK. He just wants to be asked to the dance right? That's why he's doing songs on tv that he had nothing to do with and dressed the guitar player up like Brian...dude. Nobody wants you back and almost no one even knows who you are!
At least KK was part of his band for more than 5 minutes
It's even funnier that he did those AC/DC songs as if they actually mean something to him. Can't imagine what his live album is going to contain, even if he managed to fill only a short set it's not like he's been writing songs all these years out of AC/DC and has a back catalogue that puts him on stage. He's barely even a cover band.
Malcolm and Angus wrote Can I Sit Next To You Girl. The album version less than a year later did not have Dave on vocals. The drummer on the single only played on that song, but he went on to play with Masters Apprentices so he actually did something and doesn't need to pretend he's something he's not. And on bass was George Young, who obviously went on to bigger and better with production. Yet here is Dave claiming people want to hear his story, have requested he rejoins and want him to play. The guy really has illusions of grandeur
Yeah KK at least did actually do something lol.
I don't know about this guy. It seems like he creeps up once a year just to try and convince people how important his 2 and a half minutes were.
The guy seems like a joke desperately trying to have a legacy off this because he did fuck all.
Oh yeah he is definitely that. And interestingly enough he does all this overseas. From memory he still lives in Australia but he doesn't do the interviews here. Partly because I've seen his name on one bill poster in 10 years, so he obviously plays a lot, but mostly because he knows no one here is going to swallow his bullshit.
I wonder why it's 'obvious' that the vinyl will be longer. It's not like they are giving a specific date, it's not like they can't push things out further if they want to. I do remember reading that with the uptake of vinyl it's created a shortage and time delay in creating the disc itself but to me this sounds like something the labels say to try and hype the sales of vinyl. Lucky I'm not waiting for it
Yeah just curious as to what the bonus material will be?!
Stuff with him and Nick would have to make up bonus stuff I would reckon.
