Badge - Cream
I think that House of the Rising Sun would be friggin amazing done by Mike (alone).
Execration text - Nile
What about Queen's Innuendo?
That would work.
"Down in a Hole" with Mike's growls would absolutely CRUSH!
Some others for contemplation:
Judas Priest - Sinner, Electric Eye
Metallica - Ride the Lightning, Damage Inc., MoP
Black Sabbath - Symptom of the Universe, The Sign of the Southern Cross
Testament - Disciples of the Watch, Over the Wall
Pink Floyd - Echoes, Astronomy Domine
Deep Purple - Black Night (My band covers this one, fuckin' love this song!), Burn (growls replacing Glenn Hughes' high parts)
With Mikael on the vocals sure!
King Crimson - Epitaph
Dance of Eternity
Here we go, this one would be f'ing awesome...
Red Rider - Lunatic Fringe
Switch the vocals back and forth between heavy and clean, draw out some solos and not to mention some badass keyboard stuff...I'd rather hear this than another version of No Quarter or something. Totally outside of the norm and huge potential.
Brave - Katatonia
And Katatonia should then cover Advent hahaha. (1st song on second album... get it?)
yah...It would be interesting seeing katatonia covering advent
It would be really cool to see them cover "Ghostriders In The Sky". I love that song, and Mike could have a lot of fun with it
a great day for freedom-Pink Floyd
In a local radio show here, they said : " Opeth are the Pink Floyd of this era !!!! "
n i think they are right lol
The Beatles - Her Majesty
Seriously. Spinal Tap. "Stonehenge". Played totally straight and serious.
It would be the best cover Opeth could ever do. Otherwise, they're just wasting their time when they could be writing their own new and original material.
her majwestyus a prety nice gurl tho she doesnt have a lot to say duf hdu hdu dh uher majesretys a prety nice girl
I'd like to see them cover In The Mist She Was Standing by Opeth.
