Okay I'm sure most of you probably hate this band.. I was never a big fan of them.. but this new album leaked and its pretty fucking solid. Anyone else hear it?

I thought 'Hidden Hands...' was a decent release, i'll check this out if you think it's worth the time.

Have you heard any of their previous albums?

They're generally decent but boring and wholly unoriginal.

However, I really enjoy the new song I heard, "Sound of Surrender."

I only like their 12 minute "Veritas, Aequitas", out of all I've heard.

on their last album "hidden hands of a sadist nation" they had a 12 or so minute instrumental.. pretty fucking awesome song!

on the new one theres a short 1:30 instrumental that fucking kills it. awesome soloing

This is in fact a very solid album. Not original or groundbreaking by any means, but it's nice to see an American band play Swedish style metal without mixing it all up with hardcore breakdowns.

i dunno . if you guys have heard "The Mark of Judas" you would see that Darkest Hour was a metal band and pretty fucking good on that cd. The rest of their stuff is alright but nothing new.

well, I've seen them live and they were so scene gayfer faggot, I just wanted to push mosh all the hardcore kids so they would fight me. But seriously, this new record is their most metal work, or so I've heard, and its very lead guitar centered which is what I love.

Tomas Lindberg has been affiliated with this band in the last decade, ergo there is a 120 percent chance they're fucking queer.

Obviously I wouldn't have said "in the last decade" if I wasn't excluding early At the Gates. Nice try though, jiggaboo.

Meh, there are too many bands out there for me to bother checking out those that are 99.99% likely to crap.
