    Eh, the first few songs I heard from the album that were released gave me that impression, but I'm not so sure this album can hold up to Load. Load is a damn good hard rock album.

    Metal overlaps with rock on the melodic side, but thrash, death, and black metal are definitely not rock, and neither is certain types of power metal. "Battery" was not rock music.

    Well, I looked up & down BTJunkie last night & I did not see anything that looked like it was legitimate leak, but maybe I'm wrong. I know there's a Metallica XM radio station that will be playing the new album in it's entirety on the 4th.
