Coming back to this album after a break I have to say that In The Dreams Of The Dead, Winds and Holy Liberations is freakin brilliant.

Just got this tape, kinda surprised me with how much I liked it.
    Slow, doomy Autopsy/Winter vibe.

    It's solid but not spectacular.

Another Obscura worship band. Track was pretty enjoyable other than the lack of heaviness, makes up for it with some fairly interesting/pretty melodies.

Yeah, Kollias has some good shit going on. Of course it's not amazing or anything.
But damn cool. I think they want him to write another.

Demiurgon is making me happy. Need to buy this pronto!

Thats cool. All three MA albums with Steve Tucker were solid. A lot of complaints about Heretic but if you put together an album without all of the annoying interludes, it is good.
I don't know much about either guy but I get the feeling that Tucker has remained true to death metal whereas Vincent is too far gone.
It wont be another I album at least.

But it still looks like Vincent is part of the band. He even posted himself he didn't resign, nor was he fired.

When the Facebook pages of Morbid Angel, Trey Azagthoth and Steve Tucker all say otherwise, I'm fairly certain Vincent is in denial.

    Yeah, that too.

I did talk with someone who knows Steve personally (as in, the drum tech for the band Warfather which is a Tucker side project) and he said Steve informed him of rejoining 6 months ago. He also indicated that Vincent may have a contract with MA which bars them from firing him formally until the contract is completed.

My guess is they'll try to release an album and he'll delay it. I'm sure we'll hear something more definitive from Trey in the coming weeks/months
