Finally a new fresh Windows 7 install.
And its a legal copy, yay! \o/
Yeah i've been tweaking it for a day now, finally happy with it.
Soon you'll encounter Windows problems hihihihih
Not compared to the problems I had with Ubuntu (Mint)
Probably because your computer sucks, or you didn't install it properly or your work requires Windows
Been playing around with Photoshop a bit, this would be the result. Special autumn background
I have a HP Workstation Laptop T9500, 2,6Ghz , 4gb ram and a pretty decent nVidia card.
The thing is, it has a 15" screen with a native resolution of 1920x1200, which made everything in Linux tiny as hell, and there is no way to change DPI on the UI-graphics, only some of the UI-text, major fucking flaw if you ask me. The other thing is the mouse sensitivity, cranked it all the way up and its still slow as a motherfucker (yes i tried xinput m and it still feels fucked up, This guy is right), its probably linked to the problem with high res on the small screen.
On top of that, I have really sluggish Compiz-performance on some effects despite right drivers and tweaked according to recommendations.
So fuck ubuntu and its crappy driver/hardware-support.
Looks like I made this dualboot for nothing, Im staying on Win7 which pretty much kicks ass.
Good for you then, too bad you had such problems. I didn't encounter any of that sort, although I have a four years old computer and Ubuntu works really really well.
I only use Windows for Visual Basic or to run proxy.
Well, I use Mint on my other ~5 year old laptop, works better there. Pretty ironic.
The guy who listens to Epica is the only one who uses IE. :'D
I really don't get what the fuss is about it...
Internet Explorer is shit. That's all you need to know really.
Why? I have no problems with it
It's just slow, the user interface is bloody annoying and Firefox looks nicer. Not to mention it's a hell of a lot safer.
