Doing research on death metal, and I need interview volunteers!

    Dear EG Forum Members,

    I'm about to start work on my B.A. thesis at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (music history/literature, ethnomusicology, Indian percussion), and I've chosen death metal as a final topic. My main research method will be one-on-one interviews.

    If you'd like to participate by pulling some small-scale interviews over IM programs, email, or the UM private message feature, and commenting on musical examples, PLEASE send me a message.

    What sort of interviews?

    I play for a band that incorporates death growls, female harmonies, keys and violin if that is any good for you?
