Israeli death metallers ETERNAL GRAY have announced plans to collaborate with MORBID ANGEL frontman Steve Tucker on their sophomore album, tentatively due in early 2004 through an as-yet-undetermined label.

"We think that working in cooperation with such a great person and a metal monster will take us towards our goal, the goal of making high-quality death metal music and pass the eternally gray vision to every and each of us!" reads a post on the band's web site. "Tucker and us are working closely on the songs and sound pre-production, and recording will take place at the Abyss studio [in Sweden] on October 1st." In other news, ETERNAL GRAY will be utilizing the services of SCARVE drummer Dirk Verbeuren on the upcoming CD. "Dirk is a very talented drummer and a very interesting person, and we are very pleased and honored to have him with us in order to create together."

The group, who were previously signed to the French label Listenable Records, are describing the new material as "dark, heavy and much more aggressive, yet keeping all the strong elements of" the group's debut album, "Kindless". A rough demo of a new track "Locked In Silence" has been posted online in Windows Media format at:
