The way the GT-6 is set up doesn't allow me to use it's on-board distortion pedals (TS simulator) simultaneously with my amp's distortion in the 4-cable mode, but the GT-3 and GT-8 do.

Ideally looking to trade my GT-6 + cash for a GT-8, but would also be down to sell my GT outright for $150 shipped CONUS obo. It's in awesome shape for a board that's designed to be stepped on, and I have the original printed manual.

    Let me know!

Haha dude, didnt know you had one of these. Great little units. I first got my GT-6 when I was about 17, the unit turned me from crappy bedroom sounds to tone supremus. They were in such short supply when they came out too, I do recall paying a good £365 for that fucker.

Yeah, just use it live for a clean channel + FX on the 5150, but still having to bring my OD808 and not being able to use the onboard TS sucks. With the GT-8 I'd be able to just bring the head, cab, and pedalboard and be done with it.

Jeff - let me make a call. One of my buds has one and NEVER uses it. Will see if he'd be willing to part ways with it.

Chris - all good man, thanks for looking out! I forgot, it's the GT-5 that also has the loop function not tied to the distortion function, not the GT-3. Not sure why they ditched it for the 6... go figure.

Opeth used GT-6s into their Laney's power amp in section up until the most recent tours. Their live tone was always pretty solid.

Once upon a time my band mates board got pissed on by his drunk room mate.. Fake blood spat all over it.. and just generally beat around

The thing still works perfectly. These things are tanks.

All good, Mark! Looks like I'm snagging one from a Guitar Center in Las Vegas, so all is well.

That means the GT-6 is officially for sale - $150 shipped, not looking for trades though.

    Bump, would be down to trade for 2x57's, a 57 + i5 or e609, or a D6!
