I love slapstick best so I'd have to go with movies like Airplane, the Naked Gun movies, Hot Shots...etc.

Though regular comedys are funny too

I have so many favourite comedies I can't think of right now, but I have to agree with Airplane and Aiplane II. Fucking awesome films.

I too would say the Naked Gun trilogy, Spy Hard and Hot Shots.

I do love BASEketball as well.

BASEketball is great. Some others I love:

    Blazing Saddles
Airplane! (the sequel's a bitty lacklustre)
South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut
    Happy Gilmour
Some Like It Hot (from what I remember, haha..)
Dr. Strangelove (again, from what I remember..)
    Analyze This
    BORAT
    The Simpsons Movie
First 2 Rush Hour movies (have yet to see the latest).

God, there's a shitfuck load more comedies I love.

I don't normally watch comedy films.. I can't stand near enough everything all the above mentioned. All the teen based comedies are awful too. As far as TV comedies go though Jam, Today Is The Day, Black Books, The Peep Show, South Park, etc are all hella funny. ;>

Oh yeah, "Spinal Tap" as well. I just watched the fucking thing recently so I don't know why I didn't put in on there.

Also, "Swingers" (1996) is pretty damn good too. Vince Vaughn rules in that one too (Favreu has some great moments as well, the part where he calls the girl from the bar when he gets home just so fucking rules it's not even touchable).

I thinks Clerks II pretty much kicks ass. I thought the Pick of Destiny was hillarious as well.

Heeeeelll yes! I still can't get over some of the jokes, like in hot fuzz with the fencing hoping scene and he ploughs right through the fence  Makes me rofl each time it comes to mind.
