I liked an album by Hatebreed when in high school called Death of Desire. Pretty sure that was their debut then I started seeing all of the Hatebreed shirts sold in places that no self-respecting band would allow and assumed that they took a bad turn, which it sounds like they did, so I never checked out anything released after that. But that album is a good one to lift to

I've got nothing against macho gym music, just saying that fans of it shouldn't be attacking Exodus for dumb lyrics.

    5) Shovel Headed Kill Machine
    6) Fabulous Disaster
    7) Pleasures of the Flesh

No Exodus album is below a 6/10 in this list and it was somewhat hard to process the rankings because I enjoy each one of these records to some extent except Pleasures. I cannot get into that record for some reason but it isn't bad so that's why it is last.

My order for Exhibit A 'got lost' in the mail so I won't rate that this time but I liked what I relistened to on Spotify so that would probably be somewhere above Fabulous Disaster. Impact is Imminent is probably the most underrated Exodus record overall. Lots of tasty riffs on that one.

And as an aside, Tom Hunting is one of the most underrated drummers in metal. Top tier thrash drummer.

FFDP is basically Hatebreed with any talent stripped out.

Yeah but the specific comment was related to Hatebreed and you said "that's Venom tbh" implying that Venom = Hatebreed - any talent. That's dumb, try again.

Everyone excluding HBB rate FD at the bottom. Recommending this garbage to some newbie metalhead may ruin him or her forever. Think of the legacy you're leaving for your metal posterity.

You can't even explain what's so bad about it.

Not impressed by this discography overall and all their post-reunion stuff is pedestrian at best.

Finally got around to relistening to Exhibit B. None of the songs are pure-offensiveness like many of Force of Habit and Exhibit A, but this is about as generic as they ever got.

That Holt/Hunolt attack has to be one of the tightest in metal.

Just reverse everything that you said. Calling that album low-brow would be undeserved praise.
