im looking for a sample of something like Attack Attacks Smokahontas. towards the end of the song. id tell the band to just yell into the microphone but unfortunately im recording a friends solo stuff right now. so it would be him and i yelling and i think it would sound four quarters retarded.

Are you asking us to give you samples of us chanting "hey" so you can bulk up your gang vox?

Do what I always do. I've said this before, in some other thread.

Toss a click on and record the passage one after the other, maybe about six times or so.
Cut it up and place each recorded pass on a new track, aligning them by ear until you basically have six takes of yourself doing the gang section. Pan them out, into a compression bus and a small hall verb.
    Boom gang vocals made simple.

I've recorded 2 guys doing before - I'll actually have them about 10 feet away from the mic to get a natural verb from the start. I double them going in with a noticeable delay and simply record about 8-10 takes.
