¯\(°_o)/¯ How do mix drums?
Hay guise how record music, wuts a mic???
Not to be rude but is that a serious question?
It's extremely vague
Is there something specific you would like to know?
I'm sure you can find whatever you are looking for in the stickied thread by Oznimbus called Acoustic Drums for Metal: A Guide
It's in the production tips forum
I usually EQ and compress them.
Throw them in a giant blender, set to "Frappe"
don't forget panning and reverb!
thats gotta be the best part of this whole post...
edit: the quote box doesn't like that thing...
so here's an army of them...
whoa... they look like spiders now...
...ok, i'm done.
WAHAHAHAHAHA! Nice one Marcus!
You can mix the guitars like this
OMFG! That's just so fucking funny!
The smile on his face at like 1:07 made me crease!
¯\(°_o)/¯ Cute !
I just use the drum channel presets in Cubase. Doesn't everyone?
Oh yeah man, that's what I always go for. They have a preset for everything. Not for the boom though.
The REAL reason to upgrade to Nuendo!
MultiBand comp with the FM Radio preset. And another one on the master bus. Voila, mix complete.
